◎简　　介

　　大卫·豪勒（DavidHaller），X教授的儿子，很小的时候就被诊断出患有人格分裂+精神分裂症，他一生大部分时间都是在精神病医院出出进进，凡夫俗子的医生却把这看作是病。但实际上他分裂的人格是他的超能力，他的每一重人格都拥有一种能力或特质，因而得名“大群”。

　　“大群”出自《圣经》中《马可福音》第五章第9节中的一段故事，耶稣遇见了一个被“污鬼”附身的人，耶稣问那个污鬼叫什么名字，污鬼说我们叫“群”，因为我们数量很多。这里的“群”在原文中就是“Legion”。

　　《大群》一剧将围绕大卫·豪勒这个角色展开，他一直在与自己的变异超能力抗争，直到遇到了梦中女孩Syd（RachelKeller饰），才决定坦然接受真实的自己。

　　当David开始意识到自己的能力和周围人的能力，他发现自己正被一个暗中的政府机构追捕，想要把他培育成武器，同时也有一个慈善组织想要帮助他理解和使用这些能力。
